 Re: scavenger backwater mud motor
I have been running a 24 hp Honda Scavenger all summer, I was getting around 18mph alone on a 1651 Polarkraft. Because of the design, it's prop turns opposite of everybody else's, and I was unable to get anybody to make me a reverse turning prop for it.
To get it to bite in mud better, I re-worked the bottom end, cut the gawdy skeg and cavitation plate off, re-welded a more streamlined cav. plate on, and left the skeg off. I would reccomend welding a skeg back on it out of plate steel, something streamlined, it will help with the tiller torque and keep it pushing straight, not running to the side when you bite mud. Here are pics of what I did...

 Re: scavenger backwater mud motor
why is bloddy hell would they make a prop that spins the opposite way like its going to rework the mud motor world just make it impossible to reprop without their prob that is useless to me reason why so few people run them like if i want a mud buddy prop on my go devil i can get one and same if i wanted a hoppkins or any other type that just looks like a bad prop to idk

be a good place to start if you were re-powering another frame or a home built mm.
