 Just doing some researchI think I know what the answer is gonna be, but for my 35GDSD, whats gonna be my biggest advantage/disadvantage between a 2042, and a 1842 besides the obvious 24" and 2'

Re: Just doing some research WTF you need a 20ft boat for? I use mine for hunting. If I had a 20ft rig I would still be in the swamp stuck!

Re: Just doing some research I dunno....... If you had reverse I would say 20' for sure... but not having reverse, having to turn the boat around, theres some places where we run that 2' is going to keep you from spinning the boat.

Re: Just doing some research I run an 1846 GTB in the wax and it gets the job done with no problems. I can see where a 20' boat would have an advantage because of all the chit you have to bring down there, especially when camping, but man that is a hard boat to hide. Go with your gut and enjoy your new boat. I would run the 18'.
