 Go Devil 16x44 Boat Questions 1.) My boat came with a poling platform on it. Does anyone know how these boats pole on the flats?
2.) Anybody know how fast this boat might run with a 25hp outboard?

It should run with one person no load 17 to 20 with a new 9X7 prop.
two people no load 15 to 16.
let me know if you have any questions i have the same set up 16X44 with 25GDLT.

Re: Go Devil 16x44 Boat Questions Mine came with a poling platform as well. It's very easy to raise the platform to accomodate a surface drive. Let me know if you have questions on how to do it.

Re: Go Devil 16x44 Boat Questions because there is no strakes on the bottom it doesn't like to pole in a straight line.
giga, I had a 27 gdsd on one, and never got mid twenties, maybe a touch above 20 but not much.

Re: Go Devil 16x44 Boat Questions With a 27 MB Mini Lite, I got 27. With a MB 4000, I hit 32. Mine was a '99 model with solid bench.

Re: Go Devil 16x44 Boat Questions what do you guys get for speed with 2 guys and the 27 hp. My new rig with the 35 only does about 28 mph, and I know I could walk away from a 27 like it was standing still. Ran it next to a 23 gtr on a long run last week, and i could have stopped and ate lunch while he caught up.
