 Boat
I recently bought a 15x34 aluminum boat from one of my friends that he built yeas ago. The boat is home made and has never been regestered. Due to being built so long ago he no longer has any reciepts for the materials. This is absolutily NOT a stolen boat. are any boat builders interested in helping me get some papers on this for some cash or can anyone point me in the right diection on how to go about this?

 Re: Boat
the idea he had about a boat builder or metal worker hooking him up with recipts.
darrel, all you should need is recipts for materials and a fresh paintjob. say you built it yourself......in situations like this they leave you no choice but to lie.
garrett, hook the man up wit some material recipts, hes a good guy.

 Re: Boat
The receipt does not have to be in his name. My boat is reg as homemade & all I needed was a copy of a receipt showing where metal was purchased for it. My name was not on any of them.

 Re: Boat
If the taxes on the materials arent worth more than the boat id pay the tax and give some cash for the hook up. I do have some old 14 ft applebee papers i was thinking about using but It'd be hard justifying to a wildlife that I had no clue this wasent a 1968 applebee. lol
