Give me some input here. I am going to have a chat with a few of the camps & cabins make sure that we are in the clear for this weekend. Also going to talk with the locals and get their input I don't want to step on any toes. I think I understand everyone's concerns I have already talked to a few of you guys. So thanks for taking the time to chat.

So please provide me some feedback. Would a get together at Caddo Lake be in the cards for some of you guys the weekend on June 25 & 26th (Saturday & Sunday) Hopefully I will be able to leave Thursday night & arrive in time for some riding on Friday.

I had a blast last year and it was one of the most memorable trips in a long time!

I can do mid july but you have to think it gets HOT but I have no problem mid July (AFTER THE 4th) maybe 3rd weekend in June Or July.

Westend, you don't have to go overboard brotha. Just set a date and show up. If we wanna do a cookout, we can plan a potluck or somethin once it gets closer to the run. Just keep it simple. If everything goes good, maybe we'll try to organize a lil more the next year. Just saying, don't stress yourself over it.

Well, the LA run was usually end of July. If it wasn't too hot for SELA, it shouldn't be too hot for NETX. Besides, like Jeff said, cold beer tastes better when it's hot outside.

Just talked to Crips, they are wide open for June 24, 25 & leaving on the 26th (24 & 25 Friday Night & Saturday)

You can call & make your reservations on your own. I'm not blocking any rooms nor messing with reservations for everyone.

I personally am not staying there but its a fun place to congregate so if some of y'all are staying there let me know because I'll bring the stuff to cook up some good food.

Here is a list of cabins on the lake... some have boat houses & docks... something to think about. I stayed at Hoot N Holler last year & liked it and have reserved it again for this year.

June 25, 2011 is when we are having a run make reservations on your own, I am not booking or holding reservations Crips is 100% open a lot like to stay there.

So at these runs, do yall ride most of the time at 30mph or do yall stop in a certain spot and ride in it?

Just wanna say thanks for steppin up. It's hard enough to put on one of these events when it's in your own back yard, but to do it 4 hrs from your home town has got to be a real PITA. Thanks for all you do.

I am new to this forum and Mud Motor events but if it's anything like the ATV Rides I'm all over it.. I have a few buddies with Mud boats as well that are a wanting to go , but we have no clue what to expect. What should we bring ? Where does everyone meet up at? Avg age group ?

Bring plenty of gas, plenty of beverages of choice, maybe some snacks in the boat. Age group is pretty big range, from 18 yr old youngsters, up to 40-50 yr olds. It's just like your normal weekend rides, only on a larger scale.

FYI, newbies should bring extra gas & beer for the rest of us.
