 new kliebert custom 1750 well i picked up my new rig this past weekend, i have not had a chance to run it yet so numbers will come later, but as of so far i love it. i gave mike some input on what i would like and told him what i would be using it for, and pretty much threw the ball in his court. he did a few things i didn't even consider and i'm sure glad he did. in my opinion this thing is perfect.

Re: new kliebert custom 1750 thanks, yeh same guy, that was a strange boat on the show i did ask him about it and he said thats what the guy wanted. he'll build it to your specs if you ask. but my boat is his basic design but modified.

Re: new kliebert custom 1750 If I'm not mistaken, he is the one that designed the GD boats the Coco is turning out today. I could be wrong, but seems like I read that somewhere.
Either way, good lookin boat.

Re: new kliebert custom 1750 Yes he is the one that first started GD with that style boat. He all so showed a few others how to build round chine boats Geaux Custom being one of them. Everyone just added their own little thing as time went on. Mike is a good guy and I think he is pretty much the father of the round chine boat as I know of.

Whats the purpose of the narrow flooring though; drainage?
I'd think it would be an issue with twisting an ankle every now and then

Re: new kliebert custom 1750 sorry it has taken me so long to put up stats, but i've been having some motor issues, just cant seem to get high rpms. but with just me and 6 gals of gas ,and turning 3350 RPMs i got 18 mph. in deep water and about the same in shallow. I've got an after market (not sure what brand ) 9x6 prop with about 1/4 in of wear. so i cant wait to see what it will do once its running right.
