Just contacted Pierce Aluminum:

They can cut and crimp a 1/8 sheet of 5086 for about $1,457 including setup and price of material: less if you have nesting coordinates already. The 20' sheet of aluminum itself costs $902.

Addendum: That would give you an 18' x 60" bottom x 18" sides, and have enough material for a transom. but you probably want thicker material for the transom. Additional materials: decking, square tubing for stringers and cross-members, extruded gunnel or fab yourself, flooring, boxes. I personally would go 54" on the bottom which would leave enough material from the sheet to fab your shear decking (gunnels). One of the reasons some boats use extruded shears and have no decking along the gunnels is they have to piece together the sheets to make it up or use a whole sheet just to make the decking out of one piece.

Consider this, however, if you try to build this yourself. Any good builder on this forum can have a boat for you ready to paint in about 4 to 6 weeks if they're not too backed up, for a price that is not much more than it might cost you to do it yourself. And, if you do it yourself, good luck having it ready for next season cause you will make mistakes that will cost you time and material. If you're up for the challenge, boat building is very gratifying, but you have to be dedicated and patient with yourself.

well don't read it then if it is so hard. Y you always got to stir up stuff i read your post and you cant leave stuff alone. if you didnt have any input about the subject hit back on your browser and go on about your way.. ppl like you cant wait to get on a forum and start stuff.you probably got a few alias names and just write to your self sometimes. leave my post alone and go fondle yourself on a lawn chair and watch porn hub or something.
