damn was hoping that it was 7/8 was going to buy a big blade cut the taper and step in it and pitch it 11"
and get it boron coated ran a old gd prop that i got boron and sand didnt wear it at all

Or 3/4 course/standard threads. a 7/8 to 3/4 heli coil might work for an adapter?

I was hoping Keith was on to something with the props. But that looks like it fell through. Folks have tried some different coatings on these props in the past and they didn't work out very well.

yeah i ran a 2 blade gd on palistine last year about 40 hrs in the sand tried to eat the prop all it did was make it shiny boron anit cheap but it will bake in about 10 thous. of a inch does not change any tol. and is dull black when new the only thing harder is a diamond hitting stumps did not flake it dont know about the guys down south and rocks and oyster shells but this stuff i have used in valves for plants

If I ever got a badass prop, like the one I saw in Bayouboy's pictures slinging perfect spirals of mud that look like rifling in a gun barrel, then I would definitely want to look into something like Boron. It seems like custom prop work is such a crap shoot and non-repeatable that if I ever did get it right, I'd want to protect it any way I could.
