 War eagle Boat
I'm looking at an 06 648lvd with an o6 motor 25hp on it. Boat and motor are in great condition. It comes with boat blind, dog ladder, and all the other stuff. He is asking 6000.Is that a fair price. Also how are war eagle boats.I'm new to the boating world. Thanks

 Re: War eagle Boat
Its a great boat if you stay in the deep clean water.

 Re: War eagle Boat
They are great boat! Built solid also. I have a 648 LDV with a 27 Pro Drive. The War Eagle hull is not made to couple with a mud motor, but it will work if needed just not as well as a true flat bottom boat. Just to give you an idea, I gave 2500 for my 2004 model 648. That was boat and trailer. If you want a boat to put a mud motor on, I wouldn't go with the War Eagle hull, but for an outboard it is ideal.

 Re: War eagle Boat
I loved my war eagle with a outboard. I would never buy one for a mud motor, just not thick enough or braced well to be able to take some abuse. Had mine 4 years and the bottom was very ugly when I sold it. It did perform very well with a outboard.

 Re: War eagle Boat
I've busted almost every weld in my transome. But it is over rated and has a jackplate on it. And I used it for three years for tournament fishing before getting my bassboat. I went through alot of shallow water and rough water which that boat is not made for. If planning to use as a clear water boat I'd say get it but deffinately not for a mudmotor

A friend of mine has one w/ a 35 mudbuddy hyperdrive on it. He runs the shit out of that boat and it's held up well.
