 Custom engine/MM covers poll
I have access to a thermoplastics formin machine and the company I work for already makes certain covers for a MM manufacturer. Lookin at them I was thinkin how easy it would be to make some custom, more aggressively styled covers. maybe control covers with more room for extra guages, switches etc with a stylin that blends into the other covers. I thought maybe some louvers for extra heat extraction, maybe with built in fans to aid this for the more modified crowd. Just seems like with as many mods ya'll put into these things, there must be some of you who would like some racier lookin MM's. If you have never seen a alien cowlin equipped merc v6 outboard compared to a standard v6 merc cowlin, google it and think of it in the same light.

Its a little early for a price just yet, but let me try to come up with some different ideas and I'll run them by ya'll and get your opinion before I make a mold. Anyone who lives close to me and would like to offer up thier B&S for me to get a closer look at, I'd appreciate it.

Not sure you want a mudmotor to look too cool or aerodynamic? Afterall, they top out at only 30+mph. Now, for the purpose of additional cooling or gauges...maybe so.

Just think, with the right cowling, you could go from almost 30 to right at 30. Sent from my Droid because I'm trying to be as cool as you someday.
