Post Gatortal boats
A buddys brother just went and picked up a new gator tail rig. Do they come with some kind of sprayed liner? He said they quoted his bro a high price for hydro because they said this stuff would need to be removed for the install. Just wondwring what the stuff is and if he will actually have to remove whatever it is on the surfaces.

U would usually specify what u wanted when the boat was ordered, it's not cheap for them to put the hydro turf in, I think my 18x60 was between $500 and $650,

I want to say he was quoted around 900...because they said whatever the stuff is that's on the surface would have to be removed. I was just wondered what it might be..(or flooring options they offer). If the dealer was being straight or blowing smoke. Think he got it out of lafayette. Didn't sound like he ordered it. My bud talked like his bro called and this was just a rig they had coming in. That his next chance ti buy would be 6wks if he didn't take it.

Note this is second hand info from the brother.

If it's a sprayed on liner like line x or rhino lining which are poly urea / urethane, you best just leave it on cause it's a shitload of work to remove it.
