 Lt prop on sd frame?
I know longtails are built to run subsurface, but if you have a lt prop on a surface drive frame running true surface peirceing will it cavitate or will it perform pretty good?

Re: Lt prop on sd frame?
Don't know about this but we tried a SD prop on a LT an it wouldn't turn it. As soon as it hit the water it bogged down. It would haul azz if u had open water but if u get skinny u had no power. That would make me think that if u put a LT on a SD it would hit the rev limiter and not perform very well.

Re: Lt prop on sd frame?
The reason your lt couldnt turn it is it was too big for the 1 to 1
The sd I am talking about the rev. wont be a problem, I am just wondering how they would perform on the surface.

I believe Prodrive tried a smaller prop to run in the Texas refuges that have a prop size restriction several years ago.I dont think it did very well and they dont sell em if that tells you anything.
