Yep. Now you have to sell it.

Jus kiddin. My GTR gets water in the belt housing when it rains real hard. I just run it and dont worry about it. I dont know about a MB.

Ya I don't really know this is my first surface drive , switched from my longtail ,can't seem to find a place where it would come into the housing the bolt on the bottom was tight when I took it out.

^^^What they said^^^ MB beltdrive is supposed to be sealed. Pull the clutch cover off & check the sealant between the clutch cover & the lower drive. Hopefully it's just leaking there, if not you gotta go further & pull the outdrive & check the seal on it.

This is all assuming that the vent on the front of the belt housing (port side) is facing down & not up.

Assuming that you have a mini (from your signature), the mini frame has a plastic cover over the top 1/4 of the belt housing which isnt 100% water tight (just like a Gator Tail). Usually the belt picks up this water and slings it out, but it doesnt hurt to pull the drain plug and empty the water out manually either.

Oh and, cover your motor when in storage and it will stop this from happening.
