Just jacking with with ya. I run an IPod directly to an amp.

Oncall and I run the same setup. The first pic has the ipod mounted on the OS handle and the wire goes to a plug. That plug has a headphone jack on one end and rca cables on the othe that plugs into the amp. The amp is wired to constant power and ground and the "turn on wire" is wired to a switch on the panel. The amp gain is turned almost all the way up and volume is controlled by your ipod.
