What exactly is it?

I ran the stock output shaft for 2 years and went with the longer output shaft. There is not any difference other than the length of the shaft. Personally I like it but is it a necessity? No. It shines in certain areas. Pros & Cons to everything you do. I think it added a little bit more tiller torque because of more prop/ housing in the water

I was told once by Keith Daley that it would give slightly more reach in the mud, but add more tiller torque and enhance the difficulty in the sand. It would behave more like a longtail, in other words.

The only difference with driving it is at slower speeds !! It has more resistance in the water !! It not even enough to worry about!! As for as driving like a Lt no not even close!! As for as how foes it perform it is bad ass in the mud and lilies!! Is it needed I think in some situations it is way better but I been running a 27 for 6 years and never needed it!! Hell it has been said that it was unfair from other gt owners but the 27 did the same thing!!

some say it will help you get out the hole quicker with more weight in the boat
