For those of us that can't afford a motor that you can take a prop off of in a couple of minutes and don't deny every flaw in its design.

Break all the nuts and the prop loose every once in a while (25 hrs or so) and work it on the threads so you can break it loose easier.

Go Devil props are the devil when it comes to removeing them. Fortunately, this is a maintenance issue and can be done at the convenience of your home or at worst a welding shop.

But even the worst prop can be taken off after heating the hub for a few minutes until its cherry red and then using a prop socket and a wrench to torque it off. Take's 10 minutes tops if you go straight to the big tools.

Now sitting at home with a hammer, wrench, block, and some liquid wrench, could take you all day if its seized bad enough. And most of the time mine are.

Just like the GTR owners live with a spinning prop in neutral, the Go-Devil guys live with having a stubborn prop system.

BUT, everybody's buddy in Utah is about to come out with a Hex shape sleeve that goes onto the threaded GD shaft to allow us to use the Hex MB props. So bash us while you can.

I'll tell you GD guys this as i was once a go-devil LT owner, once you heat that shaft up you have compromised the strength of the shaft, you have literally changed the Metalurgy of the metal. Therefore weakening the strength of the shaft. Just a heads up. i Understand heating it up to take it off but it weakens the shaft.....thats why go-devil needs to change the way the engineer these props to shafts.
