 Layout Blind
Has anyone made a layout blind out of their boat instead of making the scissor style that most are running.
This is my current setup. Each side folds down for storage.

This off season I will be redoing by blind & am contemplating changing the design to make it more low profile. Possibly layout style. Anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish the layout style but still leave the open floor plan?

 Layout Blind
We have and Avery quickset and sometimes instead of letting the whole blind we just fold the tops up and if your sitting in the floor of the boat it comes to about eye level let up

 Re: Layout Blind
just cover it in camo netting and get chaise lounge chair cushions and sit on them. i hate hunting like that. unless they land in your decoys you will never see any ducks

 Re: Layout Blind
I thought about a lay out style for my boat, then I thought about how many times Id fall asleep laid out......I would do layout with some cheap lay outs and then use some netting and attach fast grass and killerweed to cover boat and leave openings for layouts...... or go with a neotube and park boat away from pond in high gass and layout in the neotube......They are totally waterproof up to 11". That is if you really wanna go lopro.

 Re: Layout Blind
with a net backing you should be able to roll it up, may look like a round of hay riding in your boat though.
