 Alumacraft 1648 What Motor? I have a Alumacraft 1648 flat bottom boat and want a mud motor?...what do I need?

Alumacraft 1648 What Motor? I have a 1648 bass tracker that I am stripping and converting to use a mud motor. I plan on going with a 27 hp mud buddy or go devil.

Re: Alumacraft 1648 What Motor? I ran a 27 mud buddy mini on a 1648 alumacraft for a couple of years. It ran mid 20s with a lite load and wasn't too bad for 2 people. With that being said, you will find yourself wanting a true mud boat soon after running the alumacraft.
