 Beavertail Prop Removal & Shaft Size

Post Beavertail Prop Removal & Shaft Size
I have a 24hp beavertail is there any trick to taking the prop off I removed the nuts and when trying to take the prop of it want budge? Also the shaft size on the longtail is it 3/4 thanks

On my gd I left the last nut before the prop on. I then took a pry bar and wedged it between the nut and the prop then pulled on pry bar and prop broke loose not sure how beavertails is done

Here is how its done 8-)
1. Run the last nut after the prop back onto the shaft about 4 threads behind the prop.
2. Get a wrench on the nut and the handle of the wrench crossing over the prop.
3. Let the skeg rest on the ground and kick the shiat out of the wrench, get a cheater pipe if you need to.

Thanks got it done used a flate piece on metal with a notch to hold prop worked great

With my longtail I just back the nut almost all the way off the shaft, start her up, bump the throttle a few times then kill it. For some reason the prop busts loose and spins a few inches down the shaft... Works for me!
