I like Camo Systems Killer Kamo or Flyway patterns, but you can't get them with the military mesh backing (even though they have them on their website--I emailed the manufacturer).

Any body have the Dead Duck pattern?? In some pics it looks like crap, but in others it seems decent. I'm going to spread raffia grass bundles on top, so I'm kind of wanting a darker base color underneath. The digital woodland is too green and the digital desert seems just a little too light

If you are planning on using the raffia grass in different colors you would be fine going w/ the brown/green they sell. If you cover-up & don't have folks looking @ the birds w/ their shiny face it won't matter.
Use the grass in the color that will blend well w/ your surroundings.

I recently bought some and it isnt as heavy as i thought it would be. Tough and wont rip or tear but its just very thin material.

Use search for shaggy material I posted something on there that looks really good similar to what that is but looks way better.

I forgot the name of it but it's nylon backing with just camo design. Maybe it's like camounlimited or something like that. Il be using that. Ext year.

Another option you might try is the stuff at "Rancho Safari". Looks alot like the Shaggy material sold by MudBuddy.

this is what i have so far. I have two more bundles of raffia that i dyed kelly green and dark brown that are drying.

I got the CamoSystems™ Military Camouflage Netting from academy sports as well as the raffia grass. the net is 19 x 9 and six bundles of raffia. I only dyed two bundles green and brown. the military style has the net behind the camo which made it simple to take small handfuls of grass and zip type them to the net.

will probably add some more brown to finish it. and a friend to me to leave it on the boat for a few days so the grass will get a weathered look.

No, the way they manufacture it has the green on the top and brown on the bottom. If you have a camo deck or hydroturf it look even better, fills the gaps b/t the netting.
