good speeds but does it need repitching?
I recently put a new gd 9x6 on my gd23lt on a 1750 very similar to a gd hull its running 19 to 20 just me and the dog but only turning 3200 rpms add another 250 lbs it drops to 18mph and 3100 rpms. Should I repitch it to 9x5 or leave it be. Just seems like really low rpms. Thanks.

Re: good speeds but does it need repitching?
Got a question on prop pitch. My GTR23 with heads decked, Hoyt performance cam, and Mikuni carb is turning about 4050 RPMs @ 29 - 30 mph maxed out. Prop is only slightly worn; am not too abusive on my rig. I'm thinking optimum RPM for this set up should be a bit higher? Any suggestions relative to prop improvement?
