Post Boat paint?
Any suggestions on a base paint for camouflaging a duck boat? Need a flat dull dark green base paint to roll on. I know you can order Parker duck boat paint from Cabelas. But there has got to be something I can pick up locally.

Should be able to pick up some kem-400 from Sherwin Williams. I believe you can get that any color you want. It's good paint.

You'll have to go to the SW on Twin City Hwy, across from the old TJ stadium to get it.

Any prep tips?
Light sanding then rub down with acetone?

Or spray down with alum. Bright let sit and then rinse?

It's a 90's model 1844 go-devil hull with the original paint. The paint is worn thin and is smooth to the touch.
