Yep, but my post was light-hearted and non-confrontational. You on the other hand posted what has got to be the longest post ever, still hammering away against people's deeply held religious beliefs, that, you damn well knew before, and certainly must realize by now, you won't ever influence in the least, just as they will never change yours. Yet still YOU come back. I get it, you like to cause controversy. Whatever your reasons for doing so, it's usually tolerable, and ALWAYS your right to do so. That having been said, it's one thing to intentionally insult and personally attack people about things like boats, motors, and, your favorite, crawfish. That's benign enough. However, to be intentionally insulting and downright rude and arrogant regarding people's beliefs, that, while you don't share them, you cannot begin to claim ignorance of their importance, is totally unacceptable, especially when those people are, or were, your online "friends". You may not believe in God. You may think religion is a sham, and that's ok. It's your right. However, regardless of you believe or not isn't entirely relevant at this point. Regardless of your lack of belief in God or religion, I think we would all agree, you included, that we subscribe to a general, non-religious code of conduct regarding what is right and wrong and how we treat our fellow man. I think we (human beings) generally agree that we should generally treat each other with kindness and decency, and that, generally, unless they represent some type of real, tangible threat to us and our way of life, we should respect the opinions of others, even if they differ from our own. There is nothing wrong with spirited but respectful debate about even the most serious of topics There is nothing wrong with antagonizing other members about benign topics. What you have done with this thread, however, is neither of those. You have chosen to personally attack and deride fellow members about beliefs which are very important, and for many of us, form an essential part of our core and how we define our existence, both to others and ourselves. Therefore, when you do what you have done, particularly because you have done it intentionally, is shown a great disrespect not only to the faith that many hold so dearly, but also you have treated the members here in not only a particularly offensive, but also very hurtful manner. What makes it all worse, is that you have done these things all for your own personal amusement. That type of behavior is not acceptable, not because God says it is unacceptable, but because the laws of common decency say so. I imagine the other members would say so as well. If you others agree that when it concerns this topic, we should treat each other with kindness, decency and respect, I would encourage you all to simply ignore paleo and his intentionally offensive posts and not give him the pleasure and satisfaction of having used you for his personal amusement.

I agree with you here, no one has even suggested what happened leading up to the big bang, honestly there is no clue. I too have a hard time believing that all of a sudden there was an explosion and all we know spread from the center, but equally unbelievable is that there was a being that came from nothing that made everything. The beginning makes no sense, but everything that follows can be verified.

There is a large group of people that believe that a deity caused the big bang then let everything play out as it would, who knows?


One thing I will add to my earlier post is that physicists claim that the laws of thermodynamics do not apply to the big bang since time as we know it did not begin until a short time after the bang. Yes I am aware this is a convenient scenario, but so is the alternative...

In this intentionally antagonistic thread, started by you, of course, note that I abided by our truce. I never said anything personal about you. That is until you put down me and my career. Something to the effect of,"you dig around in crab-infested pussy all day. What do you know about work?" Well, I guarantee you I worked harder, slept less, endured more stress, learned more, and impacted more lives in my four years of residency than you will in your entire life. That's simply undeniable fact. Since you're obviously a little slow, go back and re-read my long-winded post. Site where I said anything was off limits. Let me help you, because we all know you're a fucking dick sucking moron-it's not there. In fact, I said exactly the opposite, several times in fact, but you'd rather rearrange things and play the victim than deal with the reality of what I said.
