 Re: Wine
I dont know how it will taste. I hope tart but i didnt put any cinnimon (sp) or anything else so hopefully it will taste a little more like green apple. dont know but we will see. Quack---If i dont want to wait the 2 months to let the fine stuff settle...can I just bottle anytime I want after the 42 days?

 Re: Wine
An old friend of my dads made elderberry wine. I was just a kid but remember it tasting great & everyone always asking him for some. Have had muscadine, watermelon & strawberry & all were tasty. That shit folks drink from the liquor store ain't no count.

 Re: Wine
Just an update...Took the apples out yesterday. smells and looks like wine. It looked like you dropped an alka-seltzer in it when you stirred it. so now for another three weeks of stirring once a day.

 Re: Wine
well. the wine is finally finished. all i have to say is the taste is awesome but you better be careful or it will get ya. slpit a pint with my padna last night while we were putting it into the jars since i dont have a any wine bottles yet, and that half pint could turn into a pint and then a quart real quick it was so good. its got some kick too.

Surely you will drink a lot when you drink from a glass with a round bottom...you can't set it down.

 Re: Wine
plum is ready and it is some stout stuff. I think it needs to age for a while before it will be good to drink. But it sure gets the job done. Filtered te blackberry wine and it will be ready in two weeks meanwhile I started a big batch of watermelon out of some locally grown watermelons. JC does the plum take longer to age than most?

 Re: Wine
At anytime do you move it to a carboy with an airlock or just leave it in the bucket with a top on it

 Re: Wine
nope just leave it in the bucket. I started using the water jugs that are like in an office water dispenser.
