We're currently comprising a list of potential sponsors for our mud run. We had a great event and turn out last year and this year should be even better. If you can think of anybody that might be willing to donate any auction or raffle prizes then please PM their info to me. If you yourself are willing to donate anything please let us know. We don't just need big items. Anything will do, from mounts, to decoys, to hats and t-shirts.

good time here fellas! This deal benefits a lot of good charities as well as a program to get youth into waterfowl hunting.

Where on the Lake is this held?

North side out of Big Jims. Spring Creek Resort.

Last year, I think the boat count was 22.

Not any mud to deal with here. Just hydrilla and a few islands that need jumping.

Oh yeah great time here. My friend Passed out onthe front of the boat last time on the way back. Wore us slap out.

Here's a rough schedule:

9:00AM-10:00AM - Meet and greet/launch boats..hand out sheets with prizes listed on them
10AM-1PM - Poker run on the lake (I think we allowed 2 hours last year and needed more time)
1PM - Lunch at Big Jim's (and set up our tables with raffle items, sell raffle tickets, etc)
2PM-4PM - final ticket sales and raffle/auction
4PM-??? Trails rides, etc

Mack, if you could explain a little about what GWF does to benefit youth hunters I think it would help some of the folks here who may be willing to donate. I would, but you prob. know more of the ins and outs than I do.

Last year we had over 20 boats and raised close to $3000 dollars for our youth program

So here are the details for this years' GWF poker run!

Date: Saturday, July 28th

Location: Lake Seminole - we will Launch from Reynold's Landing right beside Big Jim's Oyster Bar (7863 Reynolds Landing Road Donalsonville, Ga. 39845)

Schedule of Events:

9AM - Meet and Greet/Launching Boats
10AM - 1PM - Poker Run on the Lake
1PM - 2PM - Lunch at Big Jim's Oyster Bar
2PM-4:30PM - Announcement of Poker run Winner(s) and Raffle!
4:30PM - Dark - Trail rides/recreational time
Dinner will be provided
