Re: Hendenderson/Lake Fourdoche boat accident death today!! KATC just reported the driver was a Dupuis and the passenger who perished was Alan Fontenot. The boat was 21' said the reporter so probably not a mud boat. They hit a submerged object...aka stump. Neither was wearing a life jacket. How many time does one have to read this to be convinced it will save your life.

Re: Hendenderson/Lake Fourdoche boat accident death today!! Just heard from Bubba777. He's ok. He was going to return to Henderson/Fourdoche this week to put flags on dangerous stumps we encountered. I'm afraid too late for Mr. Fontenot and his family. I'm sure he was a good man.
