Look, my friends, I realize most of you disagree with my political philosophy and that's ok. I respect your beliefs and you make good arguments sometimes. We have a little over two months left before we know who will be our President for the next 4 years. I will not gloat in a victory by Obama...no "I told you so". I respect all of you too much...RangerP, Owendickerson, even Craig, Cajun Outlaw, tchauvin and BradS, etc and anyone else I might have forgotten to mention. with whom I've debated. I will only say now that it does not look good for Romney and all Obama has to do during the debates is not make fool of himself, which he is never inclined to do. Though ya'll might not find him to be a spectacular debater or orator, he will not need to be with this lead going into the final stretches.

It's ashamed the Republicans couldn't come up with something better than Romney. Hell, I've been known to have voted republican a time or two in my life...no, it was just that one time. So you give me a great candidate with moderate views, and I can be persuaded. But this election is not one of those opportunities.

I will agree with you on republicans messing up in picking RINO progressive Romeny. They shot themselves in the foot again. We got McCained a second time. I said it before, and will say it again. I am not a republican, I am a Christian conservative, and to vote based on my beliefs, that forces me to vote republican. I call it the lesser of two evils.

All of that being said, I do not put much stock in CNN or the polls. Look back at the polls when Reagan ran against Carter. They had Carter winning right up until the end.

When Obama (the empty suit) got elected the first time, I lost hope for America seeing the light and moving toward it. You can only allow wickedness to sink in so deep, before you go over the cliff. Who knows though. God sent Jonah to the wicked Nineveh, and they changed their direction.

Drunks and drug addicts do not generally change direction until they hit bottom. We may have to hit so hard that we bounce.

I will disagree with the above statement. He knows exactly what he is doing, and how to get there. He told us before the last election that the goal was the total transformation of America, and he is moving us in that direction at a very fast pace. He forced his healthcare (largest tax increase in the history of the world). He forced the military to accept the degenerate sodomites, he fired the head of GM, and his executive orders are unlike any president in past history. He bumped our welfare recipients up to 46 million, taking always the work requirements...... He is radically changing America and he will not be stopped. You can only let cancer spread so far, before it becomes unstoppable.

He is dismantling capitalism one piece at a time, and he is putting America in her place. Obama's anti colonial father would be very proud at the success his son is having at destroying America.

First of all, you can find a poll to say whatever you want it to, based on the questions you ask, and the sample group. So I put zero faith in polls.

Second of all, the obvious large-scale media bias is one of the main reasons Obama got elected in the first place. The media chose to back him as a candidate, and everything they broadcast reflects this bias. They pick and chose what to tell the American people about his past, and present dealings.

So am I surprised that a national news outlet would report a poll in favor of Obama? Not at all.

You want Obama up by 50 points, just poll 750 democrats and 250 Republicans.

In fact, I just read a poll that said Obama was up by 94 points!!!
(97% of democrats say they plan to vote for Obama, minus 3% "undecided/other" gets you a 94 pt spread;)

look at the polls for the reagan election.......polls dont mean squat.

Pointing out that he has a lead "Could" be what they are trying to do. Do you think this would get more people to vote for him or against him? If they all think it's a slam dunk, do you think they will go and vote for him?

On the other side. If more Reps are hearing that Obama is leading, don't you think more Reps will go out and vote for R & R then?

Kinda interesting when you sit back and think about it. What exactly is the media trying to do? Get votes for Obama or less votes?
