 Styx River Neo Mats
Anyone have any input on the Styx river Neo Mats. I want to give them a try, I like the fact that they really don't have to be glued down. Are there any alternatives to the Neo Mats, another brand maybe. Any help on this will be appreciated.

 Re: Styx River Neo Mats
They suck!!!! If you get any moisture under em, they slide around. If you leave em in the sun, they'll fade to a funky purple color. Only good thing I can say is they were pretty comfortable & deadened sound good. This is new...
This is about a year later...

 Re: Styx River Neo Mats
I had them in my last boat and had no problem w/ them fading out. Maybe they're using different inks now.

 Re: Styx River Neo Mats
After I busted my azz when the mat got a lil mud & water under it, I glued em down. I guess if you take em out every time you get home, or keep the boat covered, they'd be ok. Personally, I'll use Hydro Turf from now on.

 Re: Styx River Neo Mats
I got em in my Waterfowler 16. They do work get to deaden sound but mine faded really fast. I cut it to fit the interior of my boat so I don't have a problem with then moving around and I can pull it out to clean. They are nice and soft on the feet and not hot in the summer. I like them but I sucks they fade so fast.

 Re: Styx River Neo Mats
The piece I left in the sun faded and the others held water and cracked on the back from taking them out. Don't know what I will do next but I am pretty sure it won't be neo mats.

 Re: Styx River Neo Mats
took some black/tan/green spray paint to my faded one and brought it back to life a little. I like it a lot.

 Re: Styx River Neo Mats
They will add weight to your boat, those mats ain't lite. I got a 16 foot roll for my old duck boat and it added 75 lbs
