While i am not a huge fan of needless laws, wildlife and hunter harassment laws are ones i am very fond of. There have been times when tree huggers would walk out and stand behind hunters waving orange flags to flare birds; without laws to protect these idiots from themselves, i know several hunters that might have ended up with free room and board from the state.

I would agree with the fisherman not being cited, but i am all in favor of the guy who peppers said fisherman at 50 yards should loose his gun and hunting rights for awhile. On a side note, the areas i used to hunt with this law was closed during hunting season to anyone without valid hunting license and waterfowl stamps. Tree huggers just bought tags and were therefore not tresspassing; thus the harassment law.

Sounds like you shouldn't hunt close to where people fish.
