Post Camo paint...
Just upgraded to a 1652, but its stock light brown color sucks! Anyone know of someone here in the southeast texas area who does camo paint jobs on alumnum? I'd do it myself, but everyone keeps telling me its a pain in the ass without the right stuff....Thanks

do it yourself.......what kind of finnish are you looking for? do you put a blind on the boat? If you put a blind on the boat there is no need for camo paint job......some of the rattle can jobs ive seen on mmt look pretty freaking good...stencils can be time consuming and expensive as well as having someone do it for you.....I think it runs 700-800 bucks for a 17x 54 boat only from a painter......I I were you, id leave it mud brown, it matches the water around here......

both of those look great...I knew they make great stencils but both of those rattle jobs look outstanding...may have to do a little more research. Isnt there like a special prime you have to use for aluminum and a certain component to take all the oil off before you prime it? Im just going of what Ive read? :|

Shellblastin on here is from the Bridge City / Orange area & he was getting into boat painting. You might contact him if you can't do it yourself. You already have the base coat, just clean the hull REAL GOOD with soap & water. It's not rocket science, but takes a lil patience & time. Here's how mine turned out (took me an afternoon start to finish).

2 bundles fake grass from Wal-Mart craft section, taped together at base
