Get one.. Ive had mine for 4 years and no problems.. It pushes me 29 in a 18x44 gd boat. 26-27 with a 2 man hunting load..

Id seriously look into something with neautral and reverse.

My friends had one for seven years now ,and no problems yet just changing old props from time to time.

Mine runs 32 all day long with my huntn gear and dog on a 18-60 boat

Its a rock solid dependable motor with no nuetral and no reverse. Honest opinion:........If you are a duck hunter its a solid motor. I owned mine for 3 years now and its been extremely dependable and got me where I needed to go. Didn't opt for reverse and in my situation it would have helped only for backing up from the boat ramp. May be different for you. Having reverse is nice but it does add something to maintain or fix. You will hear others debate this but its up to you to decipher. All 4 major brands are good motors. This is fact. I modded mine and it really woke the motor up. I would take a test drive first. If you're in my area we can drop mine on and see how you like it.

Here it is in real everyday hunting situations. You make the decision on if reverse is needed or not!!

The paragraph robin just typed print it out and use it to wipe your ass with. He hunts coastal no grass no lilies only shallow water.. If this is the kinda area you want to run by a mm with reverse enough said!!
