1st reports i heard the day of the shootin was that 2 handguns were used and a bushmaster ar weapon was found in his car........then the spin happened and all the shooting was done with the ar.........social engineering at its finest by the best propaganda machine in the world, the main stream media......

The news is no longer the news it is merely entertainment for suckers and old people who aren't getting laid at 10:00P.M. These reporters will never let the facts get in the way of a good story.

Lanza used a "legal semi-auto," whether it was an AR or a 7mag, should really matter. But the truth is he did use a legal semi-auto, just happened to be an AR.

true, unless you believe there is an orchastrated attempt to blame the ar type weapon.....conspiricy or not the first reports were that he was found with 2 hand guns and the ar was found in his car......

With as much false info and agenda pushing that is out there I still haven't ruled out the two other guys arrested, probably named Lynch (if you have seen the new A Team movie you should get that reference), as the real shooters.

Latest saying is that there was no AR at all. 4 handguns and multiple guns were left in the car. Including a home defense shotgun that was supposedly illegal in the state of Conn. becuase it had a pistol grip/thumbhole stock.
It's funny how no official police reports are mentioning what kinds and how many casings were found. And NO PICTURES of ANYTHING.

I studied this a good bit, and I know the media is looking for stories that fit their agenda, but i do believe he did use an AR.

Still, the facts remain the facts. Rifles are used in less than 3% of all murders in the US.

Adam Lanza did have 30 round magazines, but did not use them until empty. he was firing 10 to 15 rounds, and dropping them.

he could have just as easily done this evil deed with a couple of pistols, with a pump shotgun, or a M1 Carbine from the 1940s.

Assault is the act, not the tool used.

It's all a smoke and mirrors tactic to push whoever is paying the most money agenda. A 10 round capacity will not prevent this from happening again. I'm sure this will be one of the few times that both barnes and rangerp will agree with me but anyone who takes the time to train themselves can switch magazines without a second thought and never stop firing. We called them reacdrills in my unit, we trained specifically to count rounds without thinking and execute a condition 1 reload (round chambered from spent magazine) and slap in a fresh magazine, do it flawlessly and never stop firing on target. Anyone can train to do this, it is just muscle memory and whether it be 10 rounds at a time or 30, the same number of rounds are going down range.
