After getting intoduced to this drink at the hunting camp over thankgiving holidays, I had to make some for myself. Its pretty damn good.

ingredients:
1 gallon of Apple juice
1 gallon of Apple Cider
3 cups of white sugar
1 cup of cinnamon sugar
a few shakes of ground cinnamon
8 cinnamon sticks
1 1/5 of everclear or shine
9 quart sized mason jars

Steps:
mix all ingredients into big pot except for alcohol
bring to boil stirring occasionally
leave at a medium boil until sticks begin to unroll
remove from heat and let cool several hours
once cool add alcohol
pour into mason jars and refrigderate.
Bring to next social event and enjoy amongst friends

Made that stuff plenty of times. it is a hit Each time. Everyone has there own Twist on the recipe.

Oh yeah thats the good stuff. Got a buddy i ride with in Mardi Gras that makes his own for the float...Apple Pie and Grape are good. Strawberry burns too hard though. He also does a large soaked gummy bear...a slice of that and your phucked!

I also made some wit everclear Friday and this drink is very good! Kinda like sneak juice can't task the alcohol but it will hit ya hard

i made me some this weekend and put a about 1.5 amount of shine as stated because i thought 1/5 seemed to little. needless to say i woke up the next morning asking what the hell happened

How long will this stuff keep? Refrigerated our non for storage purposes?

All things considered, the alcohol content should be sufficient enough to sterilize it if the apple juice did go bad

Are those the right size cinnamon sticks?? I was thinking larger ones, but that was all I could find.

Just to make sure I'm holding my mouth right the recipe is calling for 1 1/5 "gallon" of clear or shine correct?
