Just gets more obvious by the day

Truth being stranger than fiction, hitler , rose to power on fighting the godless socialism. I see a pattern .

"First Lady Michelle Obama during a Tuesday broadcast of ABC’s “Good Morning America” claimed that 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton, who had just returned from performing in the president’s second inauguration, was tragically shot and killed in Chicago by an “automatic weapon.”

“She was standing out in a park with her friends in a neighborhood blocks away from where my kids…grew up, where our house is. She had just taken a chemistry test,” the First Lady said, according to ABC News’ website. “And she was caught in the line of fire because some kids had some automatic weapons they didn’t need [emphasis added].”

“I just don’t want to keep disappointing our kids in this country. I want them to know that we put them first,” she added."



So, here are some questions I would have asked had I been the reporter-

Did Michelle Obama mention that with six shots being fired, the criminal could have done the same with a revolver? Did she know that the gun used was not an automatic, and that is was a semi-auto? There is a difference?

Did she say anything about the fact that Chicago has some of the tightest gun control laws on the books, but leads the nation in murder?

Did she mention that blacks make up 12.5% of the population, and do 1/2 of the nation’s murders?

Did she tell the reporter that if we could lower black murder rates to the same as whites, we would lower the murder per capita rate by almost 40%. This would save a whole lot of black lives (blacks made up 50% if murder victims in the US last year). I want to save black lives, do you think Michelle wants to do the same, or do you think she is just more in tune with disarming law abiding citizens?

Did she say anything about the fact that last year, rifles were used in less than 4% of murders nationally? Did she bring up the stats about more people being killed with knives than with rifles (but her husband and the libs want my rifle???)?

What about the fact that America owns 88 guns per 100 people, but there are 27 nations with higher murder per capita rates? How about the fact that Honduras owns only a mere 6.6 guns per 100 people, but have the highest murder per capita rate in the world?

Did Michelle say so much as a peep about the fact that our violent crime rates are tied to welfare?

Did she mention that 74% of murders in Chicago are gang related, but that people like her husband do not so much as mention going after gangs?

How about violent gangster rap music, and how it glorifies crime and violence?

3. The president included nothing that would ease mandatory mental evaluations of those who appear to be dangers to themselves or others. The single common thread in these mass shootings is a mentally unbalanced perpetrator who is untreated and/or not sufficiently supervised.
4. The president adopted the National Rifle Association’s suggestion for armed guards in schools.
5. There is nothing in his proposals that will cause the makers of violent video games or movies a moment of concern. Their political donations have finally paid off.

Mark Begich of Alaska, Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, Max Baucus of Montana, Mark Pryor of Arkansas, Mark Udall of Colorado, Kay Hagan of North Carolina, Tim Johnson of South Dakota and Mark Warner of Virginia) plus 43 Republicans could vote down an assault weapons ban or other stringent anti-gun measures on an up-and-down; the pro-gun senators would have more than enough for a filibuster. With that political reality the chances of significant anti-gun measures coming to the floor of the Senate are small.
7. If Democrats are serious about a full legislative fight on guns, immigration reform will slide, a result the president may or may not want.
8. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and most smart Republicans will point the press to Reid’s door. In a written statement Reid said, “Sen. McConnell will continue to defend the 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding Kentuckians. While the administration acknowledged that there is much more to be done to enforce existing law, Sen. McConnell’s first test of any new legislation the majority leader decides to bring before the Senate will be on whether or not it infringes on the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.”
