How thick and abrasion resistant is this stuff?

My boat's been on back burner. Too much work is sometimes a good thing, but I'm ready to play too...

any updates on the sears stuff?

Exact same stuff as hydro turf. I have had 2 boats with ht and this boat has the sears stuff. Same shit...eva foam. Not hot at all. The cushion is great as well as durability and heat resistance. Exactly the same as grey hydro turf except the top has a smoother, more closed cell surface

Well I layed my floor out tonight with the sears special. Came out pretty good for my first time laying out "hydroturf" I think. Don't mind the objects on the floor. My dad (mr let me do it) did the middle section of the floor and caused a few air bubbles. Haha I bought 2 rolls and have a good bit of scrap pieces left. I used 3m 90 series spray adhesive. Will let y'all know how it holds up over Memorial Day weekend.

Looks good, I'm sure lots are interested how this holds up.

Well my review so far is 2 thumbs up. The fake turf is cool on your feet and, well that's all I care bout! So if your a cheap ass like me the sears special is for you!s

Mine made it threw its first duck season and has zero issues. If I actually clean boat would still look new

Nice, thank you for the update. I assume you used the same adhesive as everybody else? Either weldwood or the 3M spray?

My buddy's is still holding up in his boat, and where i put it in mine is holding up as well. There are little marks from dog claws in the locations the dog would launch from, and it is worn lightly where the seats where while hunting.

I'd guess that is to be expected though. I'd assume that the locations there is wear would be there if it was hydro turf also since everybody is saying it's the same product essentially.

It's doesn't absorb water at all? Any issues with the cold weather and ice? Does it get slick at all?

I have hydro on one boat and sears turf in my other one. Both will freeze over but neither seem to hold water and neither seem to get slick even with fish slime all over them. I will go with the sears stuff from now on due to cost.

I used weldwood in red can and you aren't getting it off very easy

They only come in the one size. I had the same problem in my boat as I've got a 56" bottom. They rolls aren't perfectly square so I ran them sideways and seamed them tight. It's held up well and looks the same as the day I installed it, I've got a few claw marks from the dog launching off the front deck but it's not falling apart. The few days I hunted in the snow/ice it wasn't slick and stayed pretty soft. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Is it 6 mm like the thicker turf?

I seen it in academy the other day sane brand and around 3-4 dollars a roll cheaper. It was in the exercise area

I know this is an old theead, but I just picked up 2 rolls from tractor supply for 13.50 per roll.. A good bit cheaper than on the Sears website.. Just figured I'd let yall know if anyone was thinking about buying some to put in their boat.
