Two steps forward, 1/2 step back, two steps forward 1/2 step back. What is the point of showing this? if you were trying to get unstuck, I don't think a couple of feet would get you pointed in a different direction. If the boat and motor would back up ten feet, then you could get out of your predicament. Second thought, does everyone have their passengers set on the floor of their boats?

I thought it did very well in the mud. The noise from those gears is annoying as hell though.

Damn. I always figured a motor built all the way top to bottom like those would run a little better than that. Like I said I never seen one in action.

What is the cost to get a motor to a 7000?? I'd imagine your pocket has to be pretty deep

Gearing affects it some but not like this. The single Mikunis have an accelerator pump in them whereas the twins don't which leads to the jump off the hole. The twins are a direct intake into the heads which help on top end.
