 Jamaica Rocks
Well, Not Sure if its Jamaica, the All Inclusive (including diving), or the fact that I turned Phone calls OFF on my phone.. Been here since Sunday, will be returning on Saturday. Hope these next few days are long!! Kids are having fun and wife is happy. Not crowded either!! Couldn't ask for more.

 Re: Jamaica Rocks
Just spent 6 nights in Boston for $6,000 including flights for two and all we did was shelter in place, ate out and froze my ass. But I now know how to purchase an extrusion factory business and about the Black-Schoales employee stock options formula, business synergy strategies, the Disney business model, and macro economics of Norway. For all you oilfield types, if I were a young man with just a little oilfield experience, I would get a passport and apply for a work visa from Norway. You will make more there in 6 months than you will in 2 years here in US. Oil is the stuff there right now.
If you have a business problem call me. I'm now an expert because I stayed 3 days at the Holiday Inn of business schools.

 Re: Jamaica Rocks
Screw Norway! I just went there for work 2 weeks ago and its not all its cracked up to be. They pay 50% taxes, a beer at the bar cost between $15-20 a piece and a bottle of Jack at the liquir store is $60. And its not just the booze that is expensive, a pack of cigarettes or a can of snuff is about $20 and our meals that we ate averaged $80-100. Hell a value meal at McDonalds was $25. They might have bigger salaries but after they tax the crap out of it, they actually bring home less than we make in the gulf. But it is a socialist government so I see why a Obama supporter would think that its a good place to be!

 Re: Jamaica Rocks
$65k a year ain't shit when a Big Mac costs $25 and you pay 15% - 20% more per year in taxes than we do here in the US. Sounds like it sucks to be a Norwegian...
But this thread is about Jamaica. J, where's all the 'good' beach pics man?

 Re: Jamaica Rocks
Dguidry. You have no idea about the oilfield here. A person with 1 year experience in the service industry will make 70-to 90k in the gulf depending on what is you do.

 Re: Jamaica Rocks
But yowhy don't you move there for just one year. After you realize time and experience doesnt matter because a lawyer such asyasyourself doesnt get to decide your own rates you make what the government thinks you deserve no matter if your straight out of school or 30 years of experience. But once again I don't expect liberals to get the idea of actually getting paid depending on what you actually earn.
