Ok, now you've done it. If you are going to complain about getting sprayed by someone's backwash at an event like this then you shouldn't go. It's not in my character to be disrespectful of anyone. Momma was already on the edge having to attend to her children in the midst of all the boats and danger. The only thing I can think of is I must have sprayed them when dad moved over to the right of the boat lane and I passed him up. Don't think I sprayed anyone from a start. Maybe dad can explain what happened. I had actually had a very nice conversation with the family right when I got to my place. Mom and Dad were very nice to me and we exchanged pleasantries. We talked about baseball as she was a softball player in college and dad, Zane, talked about his family connection to the historic Caddo Hunting Club just down the road. Come to think of it, though, why was he staying at the Uncertain Inn if he was so connected to that nice Hunting Lodge just up the road?

As far as keeping my distance, you should know I'm not afraid of anyone by my just just showing up at this event. You were among friends and I was alone. You didn't even have the balls to say hello. I introduced myself to just about everyone and every single one was friendly and welcoming. But I heard enough about you from some of your padnahs to know you have a very quirky disposition in person so probably better that you didn't F with me cause I'd have sent you to anger management. Oh, and I think you did F with me a little when you left my ass behind on the long trec to Onion Island. Whether you knew it or not, I followed you across some big open water and what appeared to be a rather circuitous route.

Anyway, you and TJ did a great job of organizing the event so tank you for that.

I really don't think Dean intentionally sprayed anyone. I got the business a couple times this weekend by different folks. Both times the person slowed down and apologized. No harm. Just a little water. By no means I'm taking sides, but can't we all just get along.

And I wasn't all that mad at the time but when I looked up and seen my 3 year old daughter and my niece covered in mud and my daughter was crying that's when I got mad. Yeah, it would have been a great idea to get in a fight in front of two small children. Dean didn't come back around after. He was pretty much curled up in a fetal position way out by himself after zanes wife layed into him, and I never saw him again when we got back from onion island. Dean is trying to make it sound like they made good when they got back for lunch. The conversation he had with them was the night before.

I got wet in the open water, but it was my own fault. The pm ride was much more casual. Open water, wot, and passing was allowed.

Rules for the am ride were pretty simple. We're gonna be running some tight trails, single file all the way, no passing, don't ride in the spray, and if you don't see a rooster tail in front of you get the fuck off the gas.

To even imply that Dean might intentionally spray a man with his wife and kids in the boat with a swampy mix is completely ridiculous! You won't often see me standing up for him on here, but I am a pretty good judge of people in general. I can tell you that Dean likes showing up at rides and meeting fellow members to prove that he can get along with us in person almost as much as he likes ruffling our feathers from the keyboard. It wasn't on purpose. I know it wasn't. But the trail we were on two boats could barely pass. It's the fact that he went by me almost wot and did what he did to my daughter while I was struggling to get out the thick shit.
