 PD Lower Unit Grease
How often do you grease the newer style Prodrive lower units? Specifically the zero right above the cav plate that makes grease come out by the prop.

 Re: PD Lower Unit Grease
This is a stupid question, but do you pump in that grease sert till grease comes out by prop? If not how many shots do you pump in at a time?

 Re: PD Lower Unit Grease
So I'm assuming here, theres no seal around the prop shaft that will be blown out if i keep pumping grease till i see it?

 Re: PD Lower Unit Grease
There are seals around the prop shaft, but they won't get blown out when u squeeze it.

 Re: PD Lower Unit Grease
I purge mine every 50 hrs or so, by removing the bottom plug on the prop shaft and pump grease until it comes out clean.
