Well I guess ya'll have seen the v-s**** and the H-s**** by now . They aren't quite out in the public hands yet but will be soon. They have a remarkable resemblance to a pd but that ain't all they look like. There is a lot of project "x" incorporated in them too. I can't say too much because Mmayes might get mad but If you see me start postin pictures of me and Mmayes huntin at a DElux duck club in the California Delta it won't take long for you to figure out. The smoke will clear and the dust will settle on our portion of the lawsuit soon. Funny thing is how it all went down............
We was sittin out in front of the trailer one day eatin canned peaches (Mmayes had swapped with some boys down on the South Carolinia-Georgia border a whole truckload of canned peaches form the canning plant for two truckloads of useless pre-printed LSU BCS National championship t-shirts and caps that they were going to push on the black market in west africa for a few vats of a certain kind of cane that they use to sweeten their peaches and is hard to find these days due to FDA regulations ) on the picnic table and watchin Black Willies kids play in the dust by the tire swing when Joe the Mailman drives up in his little right-side jeep. He pulled up and shut off the engine, got out a big vanilla envelope and came over and asked for a peach. Tyrone reached over with his pocket knife and clipped a stem off the crape myrtle that JU JU's Mamma had planted the year she died and sharpened it to a point quickly and stabbed a peach out of the number 10 can and hannded it to him. Joe Took a bite out of the peach and wiped his chin," ya'll got a certified document here and somebody is gonna have to sign for it" . "YOu got a pen", I say as I rub my hands on my pants leg ," what is it?". "All I know is it is post marked Salt Lake city, Utah", He says as he swats a fly on his right cheek smearing the wings and blood and fly-guts half across his face. He hands me the envelope and the pointed stick implying that he would like another peach. I handed the stick to Tyrone and opened up the letter.
Now I don't want to go into the ins and outs of legal Jargon here but it was basicly a cease and desist notice from our pudgy friend out west and it kind of pissed us off. So we called our attourney and asked him what we should do. "Fire back at him" ,he says," and make it burn". I can't go into it but we made a pretty convincing case that a lot of the stuff they was workin on was ours and that he didn't have any ideas like what we was doin until he came snoopin around Aintry a few years back, takin pictures and askin a bunch of questions. The Litigation board pretty well agreed with us. It has been a long and arduous fight but it seems to be slowly coming to an end. Now I ain't by no means promotin that junk from out west but for any of ya'll that is holdin off on makin a purchase on our account , don't let that stop you no more. We don't think that those unit are up to snuff and we see some real problems with them but thats just our opinion. We will get our cut( a very very reasonable cut ) and as we watch how everything unfolds we will continue to hone the plans on project "x" between our trips to the duck shooting meccas of the world and ongoing deal making .

It's kind of funny how things turn out some time. One minute your eatin peaches in the dust reading a nasty letter from a guy that wants to bury you and then not too long after that you are riding out to Cali to shoot pintails with the one percent while the former chest-thumping poobah is essentialy workin for you!

I saw this was active again and got all excited that the story was continuing...

......So in the early 80's I was lookin to get out of Aintry and see the world. I jumped on with the last two months of a Doobie Brothers tour as a roady and traveled around packin and unpackin speakers and amps and lights out of a big movin van with a guy named Anthony from somewhere in Pennsylvania. We mostly played second rate night clubs and a few funky theaters until the tour ended quickly when the guys in the band got in a argument over somethin. I asked Anthony what he was gonna do and he said he had some friends and could hook us up with work for a few more months.......so we drove to Columbus Ohio and got on with What was left of a disco jazz band named Steely Dan and man was it fun. We went across the country twice in the next six months and I got to see Vegas and Palm Springs and really loved the feel of Southern California but none of it seemed real. It was a fast life and I liked it but somethin inside of me was stirring and I knew that I was needing to make a change so as we came back across on the way to the east coast I jumped off the bus at a truckstop near West Monroe Louisiana with my duffle bag and five or six hundred dollars that I managed to save from my time on the road. Thats when It got interesting.............to be continued
