Yea I'm lucky that a chose a builder that has a highly reputable name here .. WC Customs build some badass boats (as do others Uncle J etc.) ... You just gotta be patient and your time will come.. He told me yesterday that deck,transom,and gun box was getting finished up today but I haven't heard anything but I'm not also gonna keep calling or texting every hour to find out .. I wanna know what's happening but Pete always pulls through .. I trust his judgment and craftsmanship ...

It's so hard not to text him once a week when you drop cash like I did in April and my boat still ain't completed. Over two months behind.

I did the same .. Deposit in April but I knew there was 10 -11 boats ahead of me ..

Yes, from being told materials were not ready, carb issues, trim wiring. And being told things that were not complete true. When questions where asked it was because there was another problem. Like I said above I am being told it will be completed by Friday but I have been told this many of times. Only time will tell. The good thing is when I talked to gatortail about motor issues they were more then willing to help.

Seat, conlose is really shaky, hydro turf, new carb install, winch and I think that's it

Wasn't there some issues with the motor he sold u

Not a ninja just letting you know what I went through.... Rich, the issues with the motor gatortail helped me with. Pintail, I been waiting since April. Lol. I picked up the boat to try to run it while he was on vacation Tuesday before last. Droped it back off yesterday to get finished.

Well it's good to hear that gator tail took care of the issues for ya!

Several things are wrong.

#1 is the boat was never to be started much less completed in June because the one behind you and on front if you were told July. Caphil was a week after you to put in an order but 2 boats after yours. You were told July 1st and he was told middle to the end of July you and everyone have been updated every time an issue came up with a current build in front of you. Not to mention motors or material delays which I have no control over.
We started your boat at the end of July.
I also have no control over mother nature and weather issues that causes paint for boats ahead of you in line not to be painted on schedule which delayed even more the completion of your paint and gator glide (which was added along the way)
Then I worked 30 hours straight to get it rigged with lots of extras that weren't in the original plan minus Hydroturf, lean seat and winch plus a new carb at your request which is where we are today.

#2 Then I worked 3 days of taking carb off and apart multiple times while I had other things to work on to try to fix the carb problem that you have not once mentioned on this site that I tried to fix. Which is what gave you the carb that is currently on the boat.

#3 Then you had trim issues because of a circuit breaker connection that I spent several hours while on vacation (which has been once in a year so don't know where you are getting your info pintail) trying to point you in the right direction on that issue and had my guys take parts off of another guys motor to get you going but that has not been once mentioned on this site either but yet Gator Tail gets all the glory for that one.

All of this has been without a single thank you when I have done everything in my power to help you with issues.

Most people understand when things happen and at least appreciate the updates and yea I would be upset too but not enough to go around bad mouthing someone when they have done everything they can to help you with everything including multiple discounts because you have a kid on the way at the time of ordering.

I'm not understanding why y'all are bad mouthing Pete. He's a stand up guy who does stand up work. Y'all seem to forget this is not his only job, and that he's extremely busy. He doesn't run a full factory with a bunch of guys either. It's one thing to be upset, but there's no need and trying to make a bad name for such a reputable builder/person like Pete by only telling half of the real story.
