 New boat!! / Review
Well I'm finally in the club! After trying about everything out there I decided on a go devil surface drive. Really enjoy the motor. Found one today that I want and took it out to Lake of the Pines for some test driving north of 155.
2012 Go Devil 16x54 split bench with rear pod seats removed. 2012 Go Devil 35hp Surface Drive, 22 hrs, all stock
Speeds: 2 guys, beer cooler, battery, 6 gal of gas, tool kit, another box of misc. shit....
29mph!!! 3850 rpm, 4 ish feet of water, slight bit of chop
Speedo screenshot
The boat handled great, very fast and jumped on plane within a couple of boat lengths
And like any good test drive we got stuck, bad
But even though we were 15' on to dry ground we managed to get it back in the water

That's a fast little boat, my buddy has the same one, enjoy the rig, be careful on turns, that boat will slide out from under you if your not careful. It is a great rig and not many people will be passing you unless they have mods. We run three guys and a hunt load around 25mph in his. A lot faster than my new Gator Trax.

Yeah I learned about the corners in it very quick! Did a 180 doing about 26. That got my attention.

There is bit of a learning curve, they can not run on dry land. My first time out in my GoDevil I got stuck 4-5 times, never really got stuck much after that.
