 18 x 54 gator tail extreme owner
Went to pick mine up Friday, not telling anybody nothing new about this boat that you don't already know or somebody else has not said:
18 x 54 gator tail extreme hull comes with huntdeck added the extended front deck with an extra pedestal base got the rear deck with the flip up middle section, pedestal base in back section (can either stand up and drive or sit down , is positioned perfectly for me to sit down, is extremely comfortable, I'm 6'3'', 255 lbs) 12 volt trolling motor package with 9 gallon gas tank rigid l e d spot light on front removable rod box 35 gator with reverse and reverse plate natural gear camo on boat and motor pop up duck blind with the grass got the aluminum trailer (pulled boat home down I-49, trailer road and handle very well) got an extra 12 volt plug in placed by trolling motor plug in got one of their garmin gps and depth finder mounted on adjustable bracket in front of grab handle also l e d light mounted under rear deck to light up the inside of boat hydor turf on boat and top of rod box 2 very nice pedestal seats and extension
went out to the lake this afternoon and got to test her out, deep water, 10-15 mph wind, boat had everything in it that is listed above including duck blind, plus 2 spider leg seats purchased else where, plus 2 other adult passengers, did 22.5 mph down wind and 21.5 mph into the wind, boat handle great in choppy water, stock motor got on plane real quick, could turn boat real sharp at high speeds with no sliding, did have some tiller torque but was cured by getting one of passengers to move left or right. was hoping for a little more speed but i'm sure if I took some of the add ons off or out of the boat that would add several mph to the top end. Gentlemen this is a hell of a boat and set-up. I know its brand new but the quality appears off the chart. I wanted something that I could hunt and fish out of, I believe that need is filled. even with the x-tended front deck and rear deck 3 people can still hunt comfortably. I would like to thank Bubba at Gator-tail for helping me with any question or concern that I had. he returned all my phone calls in a prompt manner and answered all my e-mails.

Nice rig. I would think you would be seeing some higher speeds, but I could be wrong.

Maybe a tad faster, but thats a big boat with some extras, and you had 3 people, and we dont know the weight of the passengers. Congratulations on the rig. Load some picture if possible!.
