Post Switch panel help
I want to put a switch panel in my boat. 1 for light bar. 1 for interior LEDs. Theres no good spots to put one so i thought about fabbing one up with some sheet metal. What has everyone else done? Can i see some pics for ideas?

Take a piece of alum and go from the gusset straight down and tie it into the side. Then mount your panel in it.

I've always bout the panel that goes in the excel boats but $170 is getting expensive! I'm just going to put my switches on the console on the next boat.

Sea Choice is a good one around $70-$80 bucks has 6 toggles. Your going to have to fab something up. Just don't see any other way.

You could add a plate under that corner gusset. Then either install a premade panel or a series of marine switches (I'd recommend Cole Hersee and/or BlueSeas) and waterproof fuse holders.

The next time I need to do anything major to my boat's electrical system, I am planning to move my panel to the space under the corner gusset, to locate it as high as possible, make it easier to see, and afford it more protection.
