Very nice job on the build, from where I sit impressive would be the proper adjective for the speed. Even if it is not impressive to someone... Why on Gods green earth would they come on his build thread and say that. If nothing else it's just rude.

You ever want to compare how boats run put a stock motor on in. Like my dual rig it's not fast compared to most it's a big heavy boat. One stock motor with 6 people it only would do 5 mph. 2 motors it ran 27 mph.

That's y mine is modded for totting load and it shined this weekend with load and 3 ppl!!!

No doubt, that is one great looking rig. Well built, well thought out.

I'll say the speeds are nice. Weight of that boat is probably every bit as much as mine, if not more...which comes in at a hefty 1,380 pounds before any people or gear set foot in it. Definitely not some tin can rig doing comparable speeds.

Those pictures from the back showing the tapers and chine are sick!! Makes me want to run a skill saw down the side and bottom of mine to throw in that double taper!

That Calen fella can build a stout motor. Once it breaks in I don't see why it wouldn't run 33 solo. I really like this boat, the only thing I would have added was a stove in that Sum A Bitch.
