 mud buddy sport v problems i have a sport v with 10.5 hours on it and it is not starting. I turn the key and it doesnt turn over. If i jump the solenoid with a screwdriver it starts and runs fine. Does anyone know what the issue could be?

Re: mud buddy sport v problems Did your tiller handle come off at anytime? Haha kind of sad that's a legitimate question with these motors  ... Anyway, if it did it may have broke one of the wires between the ignition and the starter.

Re: mud buddy sport v problems the handle didnt come off. They beefed them up supposedly. im kinda thinking its a neutral safety switch issue as of right now.

Re: mud buddy sport v problems Some of them were having problems with the start in neutral switch, heard of guys bypassing to get to run.

Re: mud buddy sport v problems Read the owner's manual. The safety switch needs to be adjusted, or you can bypass the switch by hocking the starter wire from the yellow to the blue wire at the starter which will bypass the safety switch. The safety switch is behind the rear cover behind the muffler which will need to be removed the access it. About a 20 minute job.
