 Best exhuast gasket? Have 36 PD with Iron Mountain Heads and BPS Q exhaust. I think they have been on for 30-40 hours and I have an exhaust gasket that's gone.
What would cause a gasket to wear out that fast?
Any recommendations on good replacement gaskets? Bolt size? Blue lock tight?

Re: Best exhuast gasket? mine was doing that so i doubled up on them and they quit blowing out..those fukers are expensive 7 bucks a piece!!

Re: Best exhuast gasket? I used Garloc gasket material and it works great. Find a gasket making company and they'll probably give you some from scrap.

I bought a set if these a few years ago, on the forums recommendation and haven't had an issue. They are about 3 times the thickness of the stock gasket.
