 GDSD Trim Tabs
Anyone ever cut the tabs off the bottom of the skeg? Mine runs fine through thick grass while on plane, but trying to idle or just putt around they seem to catch alot of grass.
Would I have trouble keeping the prop in the water?

 Re: GDSD Trim Tabs
I have trouble keeping mine in the water with the current trim tabs past 4100rpms. If I bend the back of trim trim tabs up, will this help?

 Re: GDSD Trim Tabs
Hey Matt, u have a mikuni or any mods on that 23? How u getting 4100 rpms? I have some mods and the only way I get close to those rpms is alone on my boat. With 3 guys and a load it's doing 3600 to 3800 depending how I trim the engine. N I think I need a new prop soon. I average 20mph and get 22 max with this load.

 Re: GDSD Trim Tabs
Actually mine is a 35 hp with a mikuni, heads, and exhaust. Not a 23 hp, yours speed sound about right for a 23 with a worn prop.
