Don't be a hater on Phil and the crew - if anyone of us on here could make a livin - a damn good livin, doing what we are most passionate about we would jump on it in a heartbeat. For Phil that is duck hunting and anyone on here who says they would not trade places with him is FOS. For me it would be duck hunting also ................................................................................................

Muddoctor, nice interview on Dwyer and Michaels this morning. I hope you have adjustable hats for as big as your head is getting over this shit. Clinton Herald article was funny too. People are probly gonna grab a couple DD shirts at Wal-Mart and then head up and see what kind of cool shit they can get from you.

It was fun, I listen to them guys all the time, again, something that just came along. Hat size has not changed, still doing what I do everyday, working on orders, doing custom camo paint myself, plowing the snow myself, check on the crew every few hours and building the custom blinds. Meeting Phil was cool, but today is just another day doing what I enjoy, designing, building and painting rigs for folks. The Herald article was a pick-up from facebook posts I guess, the gal had no clue what we did or anything about hunting, but it was a nice article.

The day someone walks up to me at the boat ramp and asks if my Phowler is the "Duck Commander Edition" is the day I peel the decals and start telling folks I had the damned thing made at a local welding shop!

WTH? I miss Dwyer and Michaels the day they talk about mud motors and duck hunting?

PW, hang in there with that bs brother.

Listen haters, PW invited me to his house when he started selling mud motors. My kids played with his kids in his house while we drank a beer and talked hunting and mud motors in the garage. Dude is good people and built a business out of his garage. Anybody that has the sack to quit a real job to build a business around lawn mower motors has my vote.

THIS IS GREAT NEWS!!! All the cheevos that bought GT's the last few years will put them for sale at good prices so they can go out and buy a new Copperhead. Everybody else running big blocks can sleep in 30 min longer and not have to worry about the DC cheevos beating you to your spot. Maybe we should all chip in and give Phill a Dixie. Then we wouldn't have to worry about the cheevos leaving the launch!!

VooDoo Daddy, er, Mr. Holmes...you will be getting my ER bill for the ribs broken when I fell out on the chair!

Regarding this thread, some of the "hate" probably draws it's inspiration from the history of DC in being anyone's dawg that'll hunt him when it comes to endorsements. With hulls, there was Legend boats, which begat Mud Buddy, which begat ProDrive which has now begat Phowler.

From everything I know about Phowler hulls, they are a class rig.

Also, it's probably a good thing Copperhead is only ~3 hours away from West Funroe.

Post Re: Phil Robertson's New 1848 Phowler Extreme with 23 Copper
We were all first year hunters at some point in our lives. Granted, many of us had elders to teach us the ways of waterfowling, but lets face it, hunting is a dying art these days with all the PETA pushers and tree huggers and anti gun folks. Most people tend to forget that the first REAL conservationists and environmentalists were hunters and sportsman. Our sport is supported via the fees we all pay for licenses, ammunition and gun sales, we need more folks involved. Unlike years ago many younger people getting involved in waterfowling have not had a mentor or role model to teach them what it is all about, they are trying to learn on their own and I say to them - great you are about to experience the wonders of God and nature at its finest. It is easy to criticize them and run them off our favorite spots, I for one try to talk with them and encourage them to do it the right way. We should be supportive of new folks entering our sport, it is the only way it will survive for another generation. We should all strive to be a good example to these newbies, teach and encourage instead of scolded and resent them - they are the future of our sport.

I just don't think they have updated in awhile, we are in the process of redoing our sites and it will be up on there when the new sites are finished in about a month or so.
