Ordering a Gator tail boat with a gtr 35 this spring. It will have a 3/16" hull since we have rocks, pointed bow, hunt deck, spud pole kit, and 2" receiver, standard deck, no rear deck, hydro turf, and a gt grass blind.

I will mainly be hunting by myself and my dog, or me and my cousin and both our dogs. On small and large rivers, lakes, back water, timber you name it. I weigh 150 and my cousin weighs 180 both dogs around 70lbs each. Will have 2 guns, 2-4 dozen dekes, propane heater, and small cooler.

I just can't decide on a hull length and width. I don't want to go below 48" width.
What length and width will give me the fast combination with the gtr 35 motor? What speeds can I expect?? THANKS GUYS!! Just want to make the right decision!!

I would go with a 17x54! And if you are wanting an extreme hull then they really don't recommend the 3/16 bottom!
The 17x54 really totes a load well!

With just you and another person, I would suggest the 17'x46".

^ what he said. But if ur gonna hunt more than two of y'all if go a lil wider. 50 range. I hunt 4 sometimes out my boat n 1852 is plenty of room. Prob could fit one more comfortable. Jus wish I had a little more power in my motor

Get the biggest u can afford, and order ASAP.

Bc 3/16 won't really bend to get the extreme hull design

with the 35 on the back, i would go 1754..... my old prodrive was a 1754 and was a good stable hull....

If I could I would run a 17/54 for sure tote a load better and faster empty or full

17x54, I have the gator series. I hear the extreme turns better, but its not bad once you get used to it. Get a hunt deck regardless of who builds it.

I see you have 1 upgrade how fast is it running before and after the mods? Sorry for all the questions that boat brought the why kid out in me lol!! Badass background to!!
